An Introduction to Rally Obedience

A full day of actively learning the basic of rally obedience exercises, including the basic rules and the scoring system. This is an inclusive and friendly day for anyone who has basic control of their dog(s) or experienced handlers with younger dogs

About the Event
All members should have received information re this event. This is a full day of actively learning the basics of rally obedience exercises, including the basic rules and the scoring system and how to get involved in this fun activity after the training day.
The session will be focused on your learning - you will be working together in a group or half of the group will be working at a time. The format of the day will be:
- Introduction
- Ethos
- General rules
- Practical on basic components
- Setting up rounds
- Competing
- What judges are looking for
- Question and Answer time
Don't worry about the weather as there is a large indoor arena if it gets wet. The training facilities include car-parking, disabled access, toilets and a private site for dog training. There is also an exercise field plus plenty of walks and no livestock on site.
